TERMS & CONDITIONS

Any reservation made through this website presupposes the acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. Contract. Once the booking is verified you will recieve an email confirming your resevation with the details you selected, dates and names. This will have contractual value.

2. Extension of services. The rental begins at 15:00 of the selected arrival date. It ends at 11:00 of the departure date defined and confirmed via email.

3. Final Price. The price is detailed in the confirmation you receive with the booking and it does not include any insurance. Different quotes depend of the time of quotation and are suitable to changes. Prices are in Euros and include all taxes.

4. Payment. We accept major credit cards. Payment is made through our Secured Socket Layer (SSL) website. Bank transfers are also accepted upon request.

4.1. Reservation fee. Once booked a first charge will be issued amounting 20% of the total amount + cleaning fee. Once the reservation fee has been received we will issue an email confirming the booking and establishing the reservation in our system.

4.2. Resting fee. Upon arrival the resting 80% will be charged on your card or paid cash before receiving the keys of the apartment. Both reservation fee and resting fee compose the total fee confirmed via email.

4.3. Safety deposit. A deposit of 200 Euros is required. It will be charged before receiving the keys of the apartment. Otherwise we will need a credit card as a guarantee against loss or damage. The deposit will be refunded on your card once the apartment has been checked at the departure date, or paid back in cash.

5. Cancellation and changes. Any cancellation or change implies the loss of the reservation fee.

6. Check-in. Once you arrive to Barcelona you should contact us so we can welcome you at the apartment and hand you personallythe keys. The check-in can be done between 15:00 and 22:00. After this period an additional fee of 20 Euros will be charged, this also applies on Spanish bank holidays and sundays. The payment of the resting fee + safety deposit is mandatory before the keys can be handed.

7. Cleaning. The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and clean sheets and towels will be included. A 30 Euro fee is to be paid for this service. When checking out, you are requested to leave the apartment in reasonable conditions of order, the garbage bags have to be taken out.

8. Sleeping conditions. No larger number of people than booked is allowed to stay in the apartments. If that was the case the deposit will be lost.

9. Reaccomodation. Should we be be unable to provide the property you booked, we reserve us the right to transfer you to a property of similar characteristics.

10. Force majeure. We cannot be held responsible for the temporary defect of equipment, for electricity power cuts, or for water reduction cuts due to no fault of our own, for loss, breakage or injury due to weather conditions, riot, strike or any other circumstances independent of our will.

11. Animals. As a general rule, pets are not allowed. Where clearly stated they can be brought only after having previously informed Rent4Barcelona.

12. Services included. The price of the rental includes water and electricity supply.

13. Questions and Queries. Should any doubt or query arise during your stay we will be glad to help you. You should contact your greeter. He will solve any possible incovenience.

14. Liabilities. You are expected to treat the accommodation you are renting and all of its equipment with care. If any damage is done to the apartment or its equipment, please contact the greeter immediately. Disturbances, loud music and parties are forbidden. You are responsible to know if your activity is heard, neighbors complain and police is called. This will result in immediate eviction and the loss of the total fee and the refundable deposit.

15. Check-out. The check-out time has to be communicated to the greeter so that the key can be picked up and the deposit refunded. Check-out time is 11:00. If you leave the apartment at any time between 11:00 and 14:00 the penalty to be imposed will be equal to 50% of the daily rent. Should the apartment be left after 14:00, the penalty will be equal to 100% of the daily rent.

16. Litigation. In the event of any litigation arising from the booking of accommodation the Courts in Spain shall have sole jurisdiction on such matters and Spanish law shall prevail.
